Hortman, a Democrat, and her husband were shot at their home in Brooklyn Park, a city north of Minneapolis, on Saturday morning by a man dressed as a police officer, authorities said. Aurora police said one person was injured Saturday in a shooting involving APD officers. Authorities said around 6 p.m., officers responded to a family disturbance in the 15800 block of E. Arkansas Drive.

The suspect, a 29-year-old woman, was allegedly in possession of child sexually abusive material, according to the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office.
