SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Police Chief William McManus confirmed that seven officers were shot in Stone Oak on Wednesday evening after responding to a call for a possible suicide attempt.
A police chief says seven San Antonio officers were shot while responding to a “suicide in progress” call and the suspect was later found dead inside an apartment after a standoff.
The suspect, now identified as Brandon Poulos, 46, barricaded himself inside an apartment at the Sonterra Heights on Stone Oak Boulevard.
