Spencer Woolley Kimball (March 28, 1895 – November 5, 1985) was an American religious leader who was the twelfth president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). The grandson of early Latter-day Saint apostle Heber C. Kimball, Kimball was born in Salt Lake City, Utah Territory.

Spencer W. Kimball served as the 12th President of the Church between December 1973 and his death in November 1985. He was born in 1895 to Olive and Andrew Kimball and moved with his family as a young child to Arizona, where his father had been called to serve as a stake president.

Consistent with the order of apostolic succession in the Church, on December 30, 1973, Spencer W. Kimball, as the senior member of the Quorum of the Twelve, became President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
