Folklore and moreso Evermore has reminded me over the past year of my initial love for her folk/country and I listened to all her other albums for the first time this year...and I love them all. I'm now a big Taylor Swift fan officially due to this album. Willow is still my favorite.

I truly think Evermore is Taylor at her best. It's got the mix of genres like Red does, but Evermore does it better. I think it's got something for everyone. Also, I think Marjorie and Right Where You Left Me are some of Taylor's best songs ever. I am not a lyrics person, but this album hits me with the lyrics. I think it's her greatest album yet.

Jul 10, 2021 · The song definitely helped me get through points in my life where I felt stuck and like my problems would last forever, especially when “this pain would be for evermore” turns into “wouldn’t be for evermore” really just showed me how you can choose to look forward to a better, happier future and learn from the pain of the present :)

This. Song. Taylor’s vocals are so delicate and vulnerable. Bon Iver’s part isn’t my favourite but I don’t mind it so much since Taylor sings most of it. I love the line catching my breath/catching my death. I love the intensity of it, feeling the pain so much, it feels as if you could die from it. 💔 But then it ends so hopefully.
