As awesome as the original series was (even if it did fail after a single season), the follow up from two years later was the exact opposite.⁠ ⁠ Galactica 80 (or Battlestar Galactica 1980) took place 30 years after the original series and had lost most of its original actors - gone were Starbuck and Apollo, replaced by Troy and Dillon. ⁠ ⁠ The show was a mess and was
