We are saddened to report the passing of comic actor Jerry Van Dyke, younger brother of Dick. Some of you will remember Jerry in the role of assistant coach Luther Van Dam on the 1989-97 ABC series "Coach." But Jerry's first starring role and claim to fame was on the 1965-66 sitcom “My Mother, The Car," arguably the most absurd premise this side of "The Hathaways."
