Today our reserve officers at Mere Sands Wood led a guided walk for subscribers of Lancashire Life Magazine 🌲 Visitors got to hear about the history of the reserve, the common species spotted there and see the new tern rafts, which arrived on Monday 🌱 At the end of the walk an auction was opened up to buy a beautiful painting by Dean Douglas, which is inspired by a peacock butterfly.
