The wonderful sight and sound of the massed pipe bands playing on the march by the clocktower at Dufftown in Moray, Scotland. This was part of their displays for beating retreat after the 2024 Dufftown Highland Games on Saturday 27th July 2024. Drum Majors lead the massed pipe bands playing Scotland the Brave and Rowan Tree on the march by the tiver Tay past Perth City centre. This was in January 2020 just before the pandemic stopped these great events. This was a Robert Burns celebration and the leading drum major was Kenny Forbes, at this time with the Vale of Atholl Pipe Band. This was held in the grounds of Mackie Academy on Sunday 16th July 2023 at Stonehaven in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
