Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego told the king, “Our God is able to deliver us. But even if not, we will not bow.” (Daniel 3:17–18) That’s the kind of faith we need today. An iron spine that says no matter what comes, we will serve Jesus. Come what may, we respond in love. But we also respond in boldness. We don’t bow to idols, pressures, or the spirit of the age.
