V8 racecar: First night test of the big light setup! A refresher: the goal was to build a racing light package that could be pre-aligned and quickly installed during a tire change. That's about a 45 second window. We also wanted to keep the stock lights functional for street use and also just in case. Most of the time, there's just a capped mil-spec cannon plug sticking out of the hood. For a race that's going to go into the night, a set of studs is installed for the daylight part of the race. W
