The way dementia breaks away for these moments are so special 💖 Every day, I always try and take a small positive out of each visit. Some days are much harder than others, but today… this was that moment. 💖 ••••• #dementia #dementiaawareness #dementiacarer #caregiver #caregiveruk #dementiacaregiver #alzheimers #alzheimersawareness #alzheimersdisease #vasculardementia #alzheimerscaregiver #carehomeuk #familycaregiver #littlejess #littlejessandnan

The walk through a carehome to visit a loved one… is something that isn’t spoken about enough. The anticipation of the decline of health, and the uncertainty of not knowing what the world of dementia will be like today. 💔 •••• #dementia #dementiaawareness #alzheimers #alzheimersdisease #carehomesuk

Spend the day with me in the CAREHOME ✨ Today we had quite a distant day with my Nan’s dementia. My Nan had quite a few fixations on food items, and we experienced quite a lot of repetition with this. 🥺 Some days the distraction techniques are not enough. 🤍 •••••• #dementia #dementiaawareness #alzheimersdisease #alzheimersawareness #dementiacarer
