A bobcat was captured on security camera video walking through an Onalaska neighborhood on Golfview Lane at 10:14 p.m. on January 30. Wisconsin DNR confirmed the animal as a bobcat, a species that has expanded into southern Wisconsin over the last 20 years. While bobcats generally do not pose a threat to people or pets, residents are advised to stay vigilant with small pets, according to wildlife officials.
