A small plane landed on the shore of Mission Beach Tuesday afternoon. San Diego police and San Diego Fire-Rescue lifeguards responded to the unplanned landing near San Luis Obispo Place and Ocean Front Walk at about 11:40 a.m. Two people were on board the aircraft, but neither was hurt, SDPD said.
