Today, I stand with profound honour as we mark a historic milestone for the Tamil people with the inauguration of the @TamilGenocideMonument in Canada. This monument was proposed in the City of Brampton in response to the destruction of the Tamil Genocide Mullivaikkal Memorial Monument at the University of Jaffna by the Sri Lankan state in 2021.
