Tropheus duboisi “Maswa” The so-called “Broad band” Tropheus duboisi is found along a 50 km coastline in north-central Tanzania, from south of Lugufu River to just south of Halembe village. In between Kirando and Lubengela villages the Maswa area is located. The area is made up of a 2.5 km coastline of steep whitish rocks. Here lives the legendary Tropheus duboisi “Maswa”.
